Houghton Technical Service
Houghton Canada is a technology leader in process chemicals. To attain such leadership, our product development chemists have relied on the backup of our Technical Service groups- one for each product group- which specialize in handling our products once they have been put into use. These labs are responsible for testing and reporting on in-use fluids and solving any problems, which may come up during the fluid life. Houghton's Technical Service labs keep the Product Development groups aware of the performances of products in the field- data, which can assist greatly if improvement is needed.

In addition to the product Technical Service Groups, Houghton maintains full Microbiological and Analytical Services Groups. Houghton's Microbiology group is responsible for all biological testing, biological test methods development, and biocide efficiency testing.

The Analytical Services group also helps Houghton customers. If the problem cannot be solved by routine technical service from the product group, Analytical Services steps in. Since they see samples from all product groups, Houghton's Analytical chemists can spot problems where they start.
